Status: availableThe pneumatic planting machine places cuttings gently and carefully into the soil. Even when encountering increased resistance, the cutting is not crushed but is inserted into the soil as far as possible. Planting and row spacing can be adjusted flexibly and are easy to change.
How it works
A front-mounted disc harrow loosens the soil to a depth of 15 cm; the planting unit presses the cuttings into the soil pneumatically; and a rear-mounted press roller closes the furrow. The adjustment frame sets row spacings from 65 to 300 cm, for single or double rows.
Operation
The machine is designed to be user-friendly: spacious platforms provide the operators with ample seat, and the planting material has its own dedicated seat on board.

The ‘Stemplant’ in action
During the project, willows were planted in double rows with a row spacing of 65 cm, and poplars were also planted with a row spacing of 3 m. The area had previously been ploughed and tilled with a rotary harrow.
