Terms of Use
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website baecut.de, which is operated by baecut GmbH, Finsterbach 13, 79215 Biederbach. The applications Hebelwerk (editor.baecut.de) and Formwerk (cad.baecut.de) are subject to their own terms and conditions of use, which are set out on those websites; these take precedence over these terms and conditions.
1. Content and services
The information on this page is provided for information purposes only. It does not constitute a binding offer within the meaning of Section 145 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Technical data, performance specifications, equipment details and illustrations reflect the status at the time of publication and may be subject to change as a result of further development. Figures in square brackets have not yet been approved. Only the details contained in the written quotation, the order confirmation and the accompanying documentation are binding.
Enquiries made via the forms on this page are non-binding. A contract is only concluded once we have drawn up a quotation and this has been accepted. Our General Terms and Conditions for Delivery and Services will be provided with the quotation.
2. Calculators and rough calculations
The calculators at baecut.de/rechner perform simplified rough calculations without partial safety factors and are intended for initial assessment only. The results are not a substitute for a calculation in accordance with standards, a calculation carried out by a qualified person, or an assessment by a notified body. Use is at your own risk. We shall only be liable for any damage arising from the use of the results in accordance with Section 5. The formulae and assumptions used are set out on each calculation page; please check whether they apply to your specific case.
3. Copyright and use of content
Texts, photographs, drawings, videos and downloads on this site are protected by copyright and are the property of baecut GmbH or the respective rights holders named. You may view, download and print the content for your own, non-commercial use. Any further use, in particular reproduction, adaptation, distribution or publication, requires our prior written consent. Data sheets and brochures may be passed on to interested parties without alteration.
The names baecut, Stripgrazer, Stembundler, Stemplant, Schnittmaster, Hebelwerk and Formwerk, as well as the baecut logo, must not be used without our consent.
4. Workshop contributions
The articles in the ‘Workshop’ section reflect experiences and assessments at the time of publication. They do not constitute advice on individual cases. Information on standards and procedures has been compiled with care, but does not replace verification against the currently valid version of the relevant standard.
5. Liability
We accept unlimited liability for wilful misconduct and gross negligence, as well as for damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations due to slight negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for the use of this website and its content is excluded. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
We endeavour to ensure that the website is available at all times, but cannot guarantee this. Maintenance work, disruptions affecting service providers or circumstances beyond our control may lead to interruptions.
6. External links
This page contains links to third-party websites. The respective operators are responsible for the content of those websites. At the time the links were created, no unlawful content was apparent; we have no control over any subsequent changes.
7. Data protection
The Privacy Policy sets out what data is processed when you visit the website.
8. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For traders, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of baecut GmbH. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
As at September 2026
