Hebelwerk Business is for design offices and development departments: three seats, with company details at the top of every calculation, and an invoice issued to the company. It’s free for thirty days; after that, it continues as a monthly or annual subscription unless you specify otherwise.

What happens during those thirty days: absolutely nothing. The payment details are on file, but the payment is not debited until the thirty-first day. Anyone who cancels via the customer portal before then pays nothing, and their account reverts to the free version.
What the three ‘seats’ mean
Three people in the company work with Business at the same time, each with their own account and their own models. The company data applies to all three, so that the same text field appears on every statement, regardless of who calculated it.

More than three seats
Additional seats subscriptions cost €190 per year per seat. Please contact us and we will adjust your subscription; you will be charged on a pro rata basis for the current period. kilian@baecut.de
Invoices and VAT
All amounts are total amounts and include 19% German VAT; these are shown on the invoice. If you provide a valid VAT number from another EU country, we will invoice you excluding VAT; you will be asked to provide this number at the time of payment. The transaction is processed via our account, not via an app store.
When you sign up, you set up your payment method with Stripe, but nothing will be debited for the first thirty days. The Business plan is activated immediately, with all three slots available. Seven days before the end of the period, Stripe will send you a reminder by email; after that, the subscription will continue at the selected price. Questions that always come up
Do I need a credit card for the trial period?
Yes. The payment method is set up when you start using trial period, so that your access continues uninterrupted after thirty days. No payment will be taken during those thirty days.
What happens if I give notice whilst on the ‘trial period’?
Your subscription will then end on the thirtieth day and you will not be charged. You can cancel at any time via the customer portal; the link is at the bottom of this page. The editor will continue to run in its free version after that, and the models in your account will remain accessible.
Can I switch from a monthly subscription to an annual one?
Yes. Just send us a quick message and we’ll adjust your subscription and credit you for the month that hasn’t yet been used.
Do all three seats domains have the same company details in the header?
Yes, and that’s the point: a document issued by the organisation should look just like any other document from the same organisation. The company name, address and logo appear once and apply to all three. Each person fills in their own name and that of the person checking the document.
Is ‘Hebelwerk’ also available for universities?
Yes, it’s free. Students and lecturers log in to the editor using their university email address; the ‘Education’ feature is then activated the first time they log in – there’s no need to apply for anything. Departments specialising in gear theory and machine elements can request teaching materials and exam examples.
